In the meantime, just so you know I'm still writing, I've got a teaser for you lovely fans. This is taken from Shameless, which is Christopher Star and Lora Campbell's story. You met both of them in the previous three books.
This is still just a first draft, AKA, a vomit of words but I hope the scene makes sense. Enjoy. Feel free to leave me a commen. I'd love to know what you think. xx
Lora needed a good fuck.
The thought was as alarming as it was
arousing. Drawing a deep breath she held it for a brief moment while she stared
at the object of her sudden salacious musing standing just feet away from her
in conversation with another man.
The entire room was filled with gorgeous men
who looked like the bulk of muscles they amassed were gained from outdoor
pursuits instead of piled on through the means of free weights and dumb bells.
Her obsession started as her friend Selina
and her new husband Benjamin took their vows earlier on. Standing across the
aisle from Christopher the best man, she'd been lost for words. It'd been as if
currents of electricity connected him to her throat, nipples and clit.
For most of that time she avoided his dark eyes
afraid that if they connected she would go down in flames or in a puddle.
She wasn't a tiny girl, at five feet six and
in the killer heels she'd splurged on as a consolation for splitting with her
ex, she added another six inches. Still he was a full head taller. The way his
grey silk
suit molded
onto him, his body had to be toned
underneath. He moved with the fluidity and grace of a sports car rather than
the sturdiness and bulk of an SUV.
Then during dinner, he'd sat next to her and
leaned over.
"I'm glad I'm not the one who'd just
gotten married," his deep voice murmured into her ear. The skin on her
neck practically sizzled in sensuous tingles.
Surprised, she tilted her head, her gaze
connecting with obsidian eyes that flamed as if experiencing a volcanic
eruption.
"You're glad?" She'd known Selina
had dated Christopher briefly but as far as she knew it was never serious
enough to result in a wedding. Was he regretting that he hadn't proposed? Her
gut clenched, a tad disappointed at the idea that he still wanted her friend.
"Yes." He lifted a corner of his
sensuous lips in amusement. "If I was the one who'd gotten married, then I
would've been in trouble lusting after my wife's best friend."
Lora's breath caught in her throat and her
cheeks heated up. "Oh," was all she managed to get out of her
suddenly dry mouth.
A warm hand rested on her thighs at the point
where the seam of her skirt met bare skin. The effect was ripples of energy
travelling to her centre, clenching and unclenching her inner walls.
By the time they got through the first course
of the meal, she was weak with stimulation, ready for him to flip her onto the
table and fuck her in front of everybody. Even the fact that she could think
about something so outrageous showed how incapacitated she was.
A good thing that Christopher showed better
composure than she did. For the rest of the meal, he flirted with her, but not
in an obvious way. To everyone else they must have looked like they were just
having a conversation. However it was in the suggestive way he spoke to her and
looked at her.
His "How long have you known
Selina?" might as well have been "How do you want me to fuck
you?"
That she managed to murmur, "six
years" instead of, "on the table" was a mini-miracle. At one
point she gripped the bars beneath the table to brace herself.
